Here are some of my most proud pieces of design that I have worked on in the past few years of working digitally.
Album Cover
During my graphics studio class, one of our projects was to recreate an album cover from an artist/we liked. Not only did I choose an album that I really liked, but also a cover that also inspired my way of creating art. I picked the album War. Cult. Supremacy. by Conqueror. The original cover was very simple with solid and striking colors, but it conveyed its message perfectly. I wanted to pay homage to that while still being original.
Abigor Infographic
Our goal for this Designing with Data assignment was to create a story and our theme was choosing our favorite musician and creating a story out of them. I decided to do a band and I chose non other than Abigor
Mazinger Zero
One of my favorite robots in all of movies and mangas, Mazinger Zero. I wanted to do a collage of images from the manga that the robot appeared in. I love the art style that original creator of the manga so my goal was to pay homage to that buy utilizing grunge and comic elements.
Ascension
Another project and this time it was creating our own personal brand and business cards. I wanted to have a name that represents who I am, what my art and work represents, as well the style. I went for the name ‘ascension’ because I want to rise and elevate my work, basically ascend my own way which is why I also added wings to the logo. My work has gothic elements to it so I went for a more grim and dark look for my card.
American Stone Eagle
This art piece was for an event called Veterans Count. I had a task to create an art piece for an auction. A couple of things that had to represented in the art is community and also patriotism. The best way to represent my country is our flag and our symbolism of freedom, a bald eagle but solidified in stone.
In The Tall Trees: Wolf Snarling
During this period of time I was practicing grungy and gothic style of photoshop and this practice was helping with my bands promotional artwork. This is a practice album with a wolf snarling and our band name.
